Over the last fifteen years Peter Rees has forged a reputation for innovative content, new production models and consistent ratings success.

Between 2000 and 2006 he created, cast, and Executive Produced the award winning science television series MythBusters. MythBusters is the highest rated television program on the Discovery Channel that uses basic elements of the scientific method to test the validity of various rumors, urban legends and news stories in popular culture. Peter guided the show through seventy episodes, twelve specials and onto screens on every continent and in seven languages. During his time as Executive Producer the series became the number one ad-supported cable program in US prime time among persons 25-54. Over 8 million US viewers watched the MythBusters 2005 Shark Week “Jaws” special on the Discovery Channel, and in Australia the project was one of the top one hundred shows for the year.
